Tristan Makes Comeback at Hockley

Essex Cross country League - Hockley
With 54 runners at Hylands the club still managed to field good numbers at the Essex League fixture at Hockley on Saturday.
The ladies team of Nikki Pyle, Lynn Tanner, Kerry Marsh and Janet Hill all ran on both days. They maintained their league position with a ninth place finish on the day.
Tristan Windley made a surprise return to racing after months of injury to lead the men to ninth spot with an excellent run.
Paul Dobson, Mark Newton, Mark Waine, Chris Purse and Rob Mills were the other scorers. Paul Anderson, Anthony Marsh, Jason Praill, Dave Milton and Hugh Bullard also featured for the Striders.
This weekend the Striders veterans are hoping to retain their over 40 title at the Essex Veteran Cross Country Championships at Chigwell Row.
