Paul Molyneux made the journey up to Cheshire for the Wilmslow Half which doubled up as the English Half Marathon Championships. He finished in a new club record time of 68:45 in 15th place.

Nikki Brockbank, Lucy Westcott and Greg Potts travelled to Bedford for the Oakley 20 and all clocked impressive times.

Janet Hill notched up another marathon to her tally yesterday at the Daffodil Dawdle. Sarah Colbert and Malcolm Savage opted for the 18 miler.

The first running of the Braintree 5 saw 8 Striders toe the line with Jon Byford and Nikki Pyle leading the club home.
